how we work
Clarity is not a bonus. It’s how we work.
How we work
Planning a wedding from abroad means trusting people you’ve never met with one of the most important days of your life. We understand that. So before you fill in the form, here’s exactly how our pricing works and why.
Planning fee vs. event budget
01
The difference
Our fee covers the people, the process, and the expertise. The event budget covers what your wedding is made of.
We manage both.
What shapes your investment
02
Proposal factors
These are the main factors:
This is why we send proposals only after a first conversation. A 30-person elopement in the Alentejo and a 200-person wedding weekend in Lisbon are entirely different projects and deserve entirely different proposals.

Here’s what that means in practice:
Every decision goes through you. We guide, you approve. Nothing moves without your sign-off.

Not the fit
We work with a flat fee base. Our fee is built around the scope and complexity of your project: the number of guests, the number of events, the level of design and the location. We send our service proposal only after a first conversation, which is when we can access the scope of work necessary to plan your wedding. There are no hidden costs and no percentage of your wedding budget, just a clear fixed fee.
There are two separate things to consider: our planning and design fee, and your event budget, the actual cost of the wedding (venue, catering, photography, florals, music, etc.). These are not the same number, and understanding the difference matters.
Our fee is fixed and agreed upfront. The event budget varies depending on your choices, and we help you build and manage it throughout the process.
However we do recommend an investment of 1300€ per guest as a starting point. This number reflects the current reality of costs of a Destination Wedding in Portugal and the one that sets you into a realistic expectation when it comes to the wedding budget.
